time to get a little serious...

I am not sure why all the divergence to humor in my posts lately. I guess it helps to be able to laugh at things in life when going through some major changes. It is really starting to hit home that we are moving in a few weeks. We are not ones who like a lot of change so this is going to be tough. We are really excited and don't have any doubts that this is the path God has for us but Kelly, the kids and I have so many great relationships that it is inevitably going to take some adjustment! So many around us have already expressed kind words and we can't help but realize that we could have been much better friends to many around us. God has been gracious to our family in surrounding us with deep relationships and we know those will be never be replaced -- the good news is that we know that we can still make an effort to stay involved in people's live from a distance. Enough of the rambling -- time for sleep!

Little Rock

This has been a really difficult and exciting couple of weeks for us. We just had to let everyone -- our kids, our friends and our beloved church know that we are planning on moving to Little Rock in June. It is a really tough decision but also one that we feel clearly led by God to make. It is also exciting as we see God unfold plans for us in this new city -- I added a link to the church we will attend here and we will, no doubt, be speaking to many in the near future about our plans. We are truly trusting God as he has led us in this direction...
